Bernard Tschumi Architects wins third prize in Shenzhen urban design competition

Bernard Tschumi Architects in conjunction with HHDesign + iDEA has won third prize in the international urban design masterplan competition for a new financial district (4.9 km2 / 1.9 sq miles) in the central Xiangmihu area of Shenzhen, China. The team’s scheme proposes a composed set of towers atop a podium of landscaped gardens to create a twenty-first century skyline unique to Shenzhen.
